A 14-26 run in the fourth quarter was enough for Panathinaikos to dominate Gran Canaria and put an end to a nine-game losing streak on the road (80-99).

It was a close game for three quarters (26-28, 45-50, 66-73), but the “Greens” played very well in the final 10 minutes and claimed a crucial victory in their effort to maintain a play-off push.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, as Keith Langford had a team-high 18 points.

On the other hand, Xavier Rabaseda (21 points) and Jack Wiley (16 points) were the best players of the losing squad.

Panathinaikos improved to 11-13, whereas Gran Canaria dropped to 6-18.
