Barcelona legend Juan Carlos Navarro reflected on his career, one day before his jersey retirement ceremony in the game against Real Madrid (01/03).
Here is what the legendary guard told “Mundo Deportivo”:
“I feel much better now. The first few months were hard. My exit was far from ideal, from what everyone wanted. It has already been said that the club could have approached the situation differently.
I have already mentioned that I could have extended my career for one more year, but I’m positive looking forward and trying to help in another way.
I still believe that at some point I could have helped. The team has improved since. These things occur in the end. I believe retiring is difficult for everyone. It’s already a reality and I must look forward.”
