The Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced the team has signed free agent forward Markieff Morris.
The 2018-2019 season, Morris started as a Wizard. On February 7, 2019, he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. The following day, the 29-year-old player was waived by the Pelicans.
This season, Morris is averaging 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting at 43.6 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three in 26.0 minutes of action.
