BiG Storage renew Cheshire Jets sponsorship

Cheshire JetsDespite ever challenging times in our turbulent economy, when lots of sponsorship deals have fallen by the wayside, Cheshire Jets are pleased to have extended their sponsorship with BiG Storage.

The new deal reflects the fact that the Cheshire Jets brand is now big enough to stand on its own in the public and private sector arenas. The clubs brand will now stand by itself as "Cheshire Jets" and BiG Storage will be positioned as a Partner Sponsor and not as Principal Sponsor.

Over the last 2 years both Cheshire Jets and BiG Storage have worked tirelessly together to build solid foundations for the years ahead and the club is now one of the best professional sporting brands throughout Cheshire West and Cheshire East.

Peter Hawkins Director of Cheshire Jets commented:

"With the support of Andrew, the team at BiG Storage and the wider Jets team we have been able to transform The Jets into a community focused business which is the essential element in establishing a sustainable and successful pro team. We have established close working partnerships with key local organisations including Chester University, Cheshire Police, West Cheshire PCT and look forward to extending this to the new local authority Cheshire West and Chester in the near future. Our Hoops for Health programme will reach over 130 schools next season and in total we will engage over 13,000 young people across the region. I would like to thank Andrew for helping to forge these relationships and look forward to his continued support as we grow our commercial relationships with pro active local and national businesses. "

Andrew Donaldson Partner at BiG Storage added;

"I'm really pleased we've been able to renew our deal with the Jets despite these challenging times. We've delivered on our promise and really helped the Jets as much as we can over the last 2 years and I personally have invested a huge amount of time and energy in helping the club to get into a position where the brand can stand on its own two feet – I'm extremely proud of everything Pete and I have achieved together. The deal is another step forward for the Jets as they progress to being one of the top teams in the UK, both on and off the court. We've had great fun over the last 2 seasons and look forward to continuing to enjoy our partnership with the Cheshire Jets. I'm looking forward to managing the University of Chester basketball team next season.

Meanwhile The Jets are close to finalising a new Principal sponsors and hope to make an announcement over the coming weeks.
