AEK Athens dominated Flamengo in the Final of the 2019 Intercontinental Cup (86-70) and won the trophy.

The 2018 Basketball Champions League champions had a nine-point lead in the first half and never looked back (42-33). They extended their advantage to double digits early in the fourth quarter (66-55) and sealed the deal.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Jordan Theodore posting a game-high 22 points. On the other hand, Anderson Varejao had a team-high 21 points for the losing squad.

AEK Athens became the third Greek team that wins the Intercontinental Cup, after Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
