Olympiacos head coach David Blatt received a standing ovation in his return to Tel-Aviv as an opponent of Maccabi.
The experienced coach, who led Maccabi Tel-Aviv to the EuroLeague title in 2014, received a warm welcome from Maccabi’s fans both inside and outside the arena.
The Israelis edged Olympiacos (65-64) and remained alive in the qualification race.
