The Philadelphia 76ers announced they will not re-sign shooting guard/forward Corey Brewer.
On January 15, 2019, the 32-year-old swingman signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers. On January 25, he signed his second 10-day contract with Philadelphia.
As a Sixer, Brewer played in seven games and averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, while shooting at 40.8 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from three in 20.0 minutes of action.
