In a crazy match in Malaga, Unicaja edged Real Madrid in overtime, thanks to a three-pointer by Jaime Fernandez at the buzzer (103-102).

The hosts had the opportunity to win the game in regulation, but Gustavo Ayon made a two-pointer at the buzzer and forced an overtime (95-95).

In the extra period, the “Whites” were in front by two (100-102), yet Fernandez scored from beyond the arc and gave his team the win at home (103-102).

Fernandez had a game-high 27 points (and nine assists) for the winners, with Giorgi Shermadini and Brian Roberts adding 18 and 14 points, respectively.
