The coach of Tau Ceramica, Dusko Ivanovic attributed Barcelona winning the title to luck and congratulated his players for their performance. This is his statement:
"Congratulations to Barcelona that has won the final, but i have to say with luck, especially in the first final, that has been decisive. Congratulations also to my players that had a great season despite the injuries. Too bad we couldn't finish victorious. You've got to have luck, and this time it was Barcelona who had it"
