Dan Shamir takes charge of Bnei Hasharon

Dan ShamirIsraeli club Bnei Hasharon announced their new coach Dan Shamir who arrives from Dynamo Moscow where he worked as an assistant coach of David Blatt. Shamir has head coach experience having led Hapoel Jerusalem to two consecutive Israeli Cup titles in 2007 and 2008.

Israeli club Bnei Hasharon announced their new coach Dan Shamir who arrives from Dynamo Moscow where he worked as an assistant coach of David Blatt. Shamir has head coach experience having led Hapoel Jerusalem to two consecutive Israeli Cup titles in 2007 and 2008.

Dan Shamir has Euroleague experience as worked at the coaching staff of Maccabi Tel Aviv. He had the opportunity to learn from Pini Gershon who was the head coach of the Israeli giants at the time.

Bnei Hasharon have some long term plan related to Dan Shamir as the coach signed three-year contract with the club.

Following the financial crisis of Dynamo Moscow Dan Shamir left the club to return to a head coach position again.
