Sergio Llull led Real Madrid past Fuenlabrada

Sergio Llull helped Real Madrid come back from a 15-point deficit in the first quarter and defeat Fuenlabrada at home (89-79).

The visitors made a great start and dominated the hosts on both ends (12-27).

Yet, the “Whites” quickly turned things around and closed the third quarter in front by nine (68-59). Real outscored their opponents 56-32 in the second and the third quarter.

In the final minutes of the game, Fuenlabrada attempted to come back, but the hosts stood tall and sealed the deal.

Llull and Jaycee Carroll led the way for the winners, with 21 and 16 points, respectively.

Christian Eyenga had a team-high 19 points for the losing squad, as Marko Popovic added 14.

Real Madrid improved to 14-4, whereas Fuenlabrada dropped to 6-12.
