Khimki forward Tony Crocker spoke with TalkBasket.net regarding the team’s injuries and his overall performance.

Here is what the 32-year-old American said after the loss to Olympiacos on Thursday (71-57).

On what went wrong against the “Reds”: “We cut the game down twice, but then we had defensive problems, we were fighting all game to come back.

It is difficult when you play from behind, it takes a lot of energy and effort to play from behind, they are a good team and we came up short.”

On the return to action of Anthony Gill and Alexey Shved: “Both players help us out a lot. They do a lot. Always having a full and healthy roster is helpful.

If we had those two players healthy, our record would be different. Definitely looking forward to their return.”

On whether he has adjusted to the European basketball: I think so. It is not the best year shooting-wise, but it is all basketball to me. I play the same, just play hard and help the team win.”
