Panathinaikos won the Greek League, after his win (94-81) against Olympiakos and completed their second "Triple Crown" during the last three years. This was the 7th consequtive Greek title for the Zeljko Obradovic's side and the 11th in the last twelve years.
In the last Greek Playoffs final, which took place in the Olympic Stadium Arena in Athens, Drew Nicholas led his team to this victory with 17 points and 3 steals. Dimitris Spanoulis with 17 points, Antonis Fotsis with 13 and Mike Batiste with 11 played a big role in this important win. Lynn Greer with 21 points and Erceg with 15 tried for Olympiacos.
