Buducnost stunned Real Madrid

Buducnost played very well defensively and conceded just 60 points to earn a big win at home over Real Madrid (73-60).

The hosts had control of the game from the opening tip (19-15, 36-28), with the visitors leading for just one possession in the first half (9-10).

Buducnost led by as many as 15 points early in the third quarter and never looked back (49-34), as the defending champions never threatened again since then.

Norris Cole led the winners with 14 points, with both Coty Clarke (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Goga Bitadze (13 points, 10 boards and 3 blocks) making a triple-double.

Sergio Llull was the omly player of the losing squad that scored in double figures, with 10 points.

Buducnost improved to 5-14, whereas Real Madrid, which played without Jaycee Carroll, dropped to 15-4.
