Anthony Randolph made a two-pointer at the buzzer and helped Real Madrid edge Zaragoza at home (98-96).

The hosts came back from a twelve-point deficit in the first quarter (10-22) and led by one at halftime (53-52).

Since then, it was a close game, with the “Whites” standing tall and earning a big win at home (98-96).

Randolph finished the game with 14 points in 14 minutes of action. Gustavo Ayon had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners, as Sergio Llull added 18 points and Fabien Causeur 14.

Facundo Campazzo, Jeffery Taylor, Jaycee Carroll and Ognjen Kuzmic didn’t play for the defending champions.

Renaldas Seibutis posted a team-high 19 points for the losing squad, with Stan Okoye contributing 18.

Real Madrid improved to 12-4, whereas Zaragoza dropped to 8-8.
