Michael Eric suspended for five games

The Turkish Basketball Federation announced that Darussafaka center Michael Eric has been suspended for five games.

The Nigerian player was suspended due to a “physical action that reached an assault level”, following an altercation with Ender Arslan and Metin Turen during the match between Darussafaka and Turk Telekom. He has also been sanctioned with a a fee of 15.000 dollars.

Eric has averaged 12.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 12 games of the Turkish BSL League so far.
