Minnesota waived James Nunnally

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced they have waived James Nunnally from the team’s roster.

The 28-year-old forward, who had signed with the Wolves as a free agent in August, played in just 13 games this season, averaging 2.1 points in 4.9 minutes of action.

Minnesota’s roster now stands at 16 players. The Wolves also announced that Tom Thibodeau is no longer the team’s head coach and president of basketball operations.
