TalkBasket.net discussed with CSKA Moscow point guard Daniel Hackett regarding the loss to Panathinaikos on Friday (96-84).

Here is what the versatile player said:

On what cost his team the win: “We played bad defence in the second quarter, we couldn’t put our standpoint to the defensive end of the floor.

We gave up a lot of points and Panathinaikos gained confidence by that and played better than us to win the game.”

On the Muscovites’ positive record in the EuroLeague (11-4) and whether they can continue that way: “We have to look one game at a time. We should do our best, stay humble, stay together and keep fighting.”

On his overall performance so far: “I try to make adjustments, try to play hard in every game and work with the team.

I love these guys and the locker room, we should stay together even in difficult nights.”
