Sarunas Jasikevicius was not satisfied with his players’ performance, following the defeat of Zalgiris Kaunas to Gran Canaria (73-66).
Here is what the Lithuanian coach said, per Donatas Urbonas:
“It’s been a long time since I saw so many game plan mistakes & lack of energy. It’s not Zalgiris which we’re building. Probably only Jokubaitis (who is 18 years old) understood what we were trying to do past 2 days.”
Zalgiris dropped to 7-8, whereas Gran Canaria improved to 6-9.
