Cajasol agreed terms with Tyus Edney

Tyus EdneyCajasol Seville agreed terms with former superstar Tyus Edney, for the remainder of the season. The player will fit the spot that Elmer Bennett left when he retired from basketball some weeks ago.

Tyus Edney was unemployed after his team Upea Capo d'Orlando couldn't make it to the Italian league due to finantial problems. Former UCLA point guard, he also was one of the main Euroleague stars during ten last years, and even won this title on his first season playing in Europe, with Zalgiris Kaunas in 1999.

He was known as "the 150000$ point guard", because of his low salary. Then he played for Benetton, Fortitudo, Olympiakos… and other great teams to became a living legend.
