Johnny O’Bryant scored a career-high 32 points and helped Maccabi Tel-Aviv claim a crucial win at home over Armani Milano (94-92).

The American big man also made five three-pointers, grabbed five rebounds and dished three assists, ending the game with a PIR of 44.

Alex Tyus and Scottie Wilbekin added 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the winners.

Nemanja Nedovic had 17 points for the losing squad, with Mike James and Vladimir Micov adding 16 points apiece.

In a close game from the opening quarter (21-24, 46-48, 75-75), the Israelis stood tall in the end and edged the Italians.

Micov put the visitors ahead by one (91-92), yet Tyus and Kendrick Ray brought the hosts one step away from the win (94-92). Jeff Brooks missed the game-winning shot and Armani were defeated.

Maccabi improved to 5-10, whereas Armani Milano dropped to 7-8.
