Demos Dikoudis planning his next career move

Dimos DikoudisDimos Dikoudis has been instructed by Pamesa Valencia to start looking for a new team after he heavily criticised the club's board for sacking their Greek coach Fotsis Katsikaris. This will be the thrid time in a five year span that he will be leaving Pamesa Valencia after leaving them in 2004 (for CSKA Moscow) and 2006 (for Panathinaikos).

The main candidates who are fighting for Dikoudis' signature seem to be Fortitudo Bologna and DKV Joventut who have recently received a massive blow in their front line by losing Pops Mensah-Bonsu for an undetermined amount of time.

Of course nothing should be taken for granted as the Greek Players' Association is pressing the Greek Sports Ministry to pass a new law which will allow Greek players paying abroad to transfer to a Greek club mid-season, something which is not allowed for the moment. In that case Panionios could be a solid candidate for Dikoudis' signature as they have set their eyes on Dikoudis.
