Zalgiris Kaunas earned their second straight victory in the double-round week, as they edged Maccabi Tel-Aviv (80-73) to remain within the play-off spots.

A 23-17 run in the second quarter was enough for the Lithuanians to take a double-digit lead and never look back.

Although Maccabi remained competitive and fought hard to win the game, the margin was close to double digits for the remainder of the action.

Arturas Milaknis had a team-high 16 points for the winners, with Brandon Davies and Aaron White adding 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Scottie Wilbekin had a team-high 20 points for the losing squad, as Johnny O’Bryant posted 18.

Zalgiris Kaunas now is at 7-7 in a four-way tie for the sixth place, whereas Maccabi lost for the 10th time this season (4-10).
