Legendary Svetislav Pesic is going to be the next coach of Red Star. After lengthy negotiations he is one step away from agreeing terms with the red&whites, official promotion is expected during the weekend. Pesic was without a job since Dynamo Moscow releaved him from his duties in april.
During his outstanding career Svetislav Pesic was european and world champion with Yugoslavia national team, Euroleague champion with Barcelona and also won Radivoj Korac cup and FIBA Eurocup with Alba Berlin and Akasvayu Girona respectively. On friday Red Star confirmed the signing of center Vladimir Stimac (21 years, 209 cm), while Marko Keselj will be promoted during the next week. Next target of Red Star is talented junior Filip Sepa.
