The Los Angeles Lakers (18-11) rallied past the Charlotte Hornets (14-15) on the road (100-128).

LeBron James and Lonzo Ball made a triple-double for the Lakers apiece. The two other Lakers – Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – that posted triple-doubles in the same game did it in 1982.

LeBron James contributed 24 points (on 7/15 shooting), grabbed 12 boards and handed out 11 assists. James watched the fourth quarter from the bench. Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball managed 16 points (on 7/11 shooting), 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

For the Lakers, James scored 24 points, JaVale McGee added 19 points, Ball and Kyle Kuzma poured 16 and 14 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Malik Monk came off the bench to score 19 points, Miles Bridges managed 17, Jeremy Lamb poured 12 points, Willy Hernangomez added 11 points.
