Partizan stood tall in France and defeated ASVEL Villeurbanne (75-78) to retain its chances to advance to the Top 16.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Marcus Paige, Jock Landale and Aleksej Nikolic posting 15 points apiece.

On the other hand, Miro Bilan had 17 points and seven rebounds for the losing squad.

It was a close game from the opening tip, with the visitors taking the upper hand in the first half (12-17, 32-37).

In the second half, the hosts played very well offensively (25 points in the third quarter) and took the lead (57-56).

The Serbians stood tall, though, and claimed a big victory on the road.

Partizan improved to 3-6, whereas Villeurbanne (who have already qualified) dropped to 6-3.

In the other matches, Limoges (3-6) beat Tofas Bursa (3-6) on the road (92-98), Ratiopharm Ulm (4-5) were victorious over Andorra (5-4) (88-80) and ALBA Berlin (7-2) prevailed over Arka Gdynia (1-8) (64-76).

Valencia (7-2) rallied past Zenit (4-5) at home (97-89) and Rytas Vilnius (4-5) escaped from Italy with a big victory over FIAT Turin (0-9) (96-101).
