According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to acquire Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-way trade.
The Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is mentioned as a candidate to leave Los Angeles in this possible deal. No trade can be done until Saturday.
A 33-year-old Trevor Ariza is averaging 9.7 points, 3.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game this season. Meanwhile, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is averaging 8.5 points, 0.5 assist and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Both players are on the one-year contracts with their teams.
