Greece maintained its perfect record in the FIBA WC Qualifiers

Thanks to another high-scoring performance, Greece prevailed over Germany at home (92-84) and remained undefeated in the FIBA WC Qualifiers.

A 22-13 run in the second quarter helped the hosts take control of the game and never look back (45-35).

The visitors attempted to turn things around (63-56), yet they came up short and were defeated for the first time in the FIBA Windows.

Giannis Bourousis and Giannoulis Larentzakis led the winners in scoring, with 25 and 19 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Robin Benzing had a game-high 27 points for the losing squad, as three more players scored in double figures.

Both teams have already qualified to the World Cup, with Greece remaining unbeaten (9-0) and Germany suffering its first defeat (8-1).
