TalkBasket.net discussed with Barcelona guard Jaka Blazic about the Catalans’ loss to Panathinaikos and tonight’s game with Olimpia Milano.
Here is what the Slovenian player said:
On what went wrong against the “Greens”: “They played like they wanted it more. We weren’t so aggressive and we let them score some easy baskets.
We could play much better offensively. There are a lot of things to change before Friday’s game.”
On whether this defeat can affect them mentally: “No, I don’t think so. But, it was an important game and we could have won it.
We are still on top, though, and I hope we will play better on Friday and be victorious against Milano.”
On tonight’s game against Olimpia Milano: “They are very talented individually, so they key will be our defence. Offensively, we have to score more points in transition.”
