Zalgiris Kaunas will have to play without their captain, Paulius Jankunas, for the next two weeks, due to injury.
The Lithuanian power forward suffered a torn pelvis muscle and will miss Zalgiris’ matches against CSKA Moscow (Wednesday, away) and Khimki (Friday, home) as well as the one against Armani Milano at the “Zalgirio Arena” on November 29.
Jankunas has averaged 7.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 18 minutes of action in the EuroLeague so far.
#Zalgiris is already on the way to #Moscow, but will unfortunately miss @P_Jankunas13. The captain suffered a torn pelvis muscle during practice yesterday and will be sidelined for a couple of weeks. 😥 pic.twitter.com/fXY7malcqb
