Pau-Orhtez announced the release of Iranian forward Sammad Nikkhah and the signing of French player Alain Digbeu. Nikkhah, arrived last autumn, did not find space in the rotation of French team despite two great peformances against Hyeres-Toulon (19 points) and ASVEL (16) asked the club to be released and go back to his former club Elan, in Iran.
To replace him, Pau inked Alain Digbeu who was free agent. Digbeu left France in 1999 to go to Spain in Barcelona, Real Madrid, Badalona, Alicante, then in Italy to Varese and Fortitudo and Greece, with Kavala.
