The LA Clippers edged the Golden State Warriors in overtime

The LA Clippers saw the Golden State Warriors return to the game, but stood tall and were victorious in overtime (121-116).

The Clippers had a nine-point lead at the end of the third quarter (90-81), but the defending champions came back and tied the game at the end of regulation (106-106).

Lou Williams, though, scored 10 points in the extra period and led his team past the Warriors, who lost for just the third time this season (11-3).

Williams finished the game with 25 points, as Montrezl Harrell added 23 points and eight rebounds. Four more players scored in double figures for the winners, who were in front by as many as 14 points in the match.

Kevin Durant made an impressive double-double for the losing squad (33 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists), but it wasn’t enough to give his team the victory.

The Clippers claimed their eighth win in 13 games (8-5).
