Fuenlabrada power forward, Dan Clark, spoke with TalkBasket.net, moments after the loss of the Spaniards to AEK Athens on Wednesday (78-71).

Here is what the 30-year-old big man said:

On his thoughts on the game: “Congratulations to AEK for the win. They played better, especially in the first half. They had a better tone, better rhythm and that made the difference, although the second half was even.”

On what went wrong for his team: “We didn’t come out well-prepared to play. AEK obviously was more motivated to play. We should not let this happen again and we have to improve ahead of the next game.”

On the situation in the group: “It is a tough group, with good teams. Four or five of the top eight teams are on our group. We must try to win at home and then “steal” some games on the road to be in a good position.”
