Following a controversial episode, during which DeAndre Jordan pushed Luka Doncic to grab the rebound in the matchup against the New York Knicks on Friday, the Mavs’ center talked about the issue.
Here is what DeAndre Jordan said, per NBCSports:
On the episode with Luka Doncic: “I guess I’ve been poaching for the past 11 years…I feel like every rebound that comes off is mine. So I am guilty of that. But honestly, when I’m going for the ball, I don’t really look for anybody else.”
On Doncic and his abilities on the court: “He’s not a really rookie…He’s so far advanced. He’s still a kid; like, he plays video games all day. But, he’s a killer out there.”
