PAOK endured AEK Athens comeback and advanced to the semifinals of the Greek Cup, thanks to a 82-80 victory at home.

Jamal Jones led the winners in scoring with 18 points, with Phil Goss adding 14 and Yannick Moreira 13. On the other hand, Xavier Rathan-Mayes had 21 points for the losing squad, with Giannoulis Larentzakis contributing 14.

The visitors were in front by just one at halftime (44-45), yet the hosts outscored their opponents 23-13 in the third quarter and took a nine-point lead (67-58).

PAOK extended their lead to 12 (70-58), but AEK responded and went on an 8-21 run to turn things around (78-79). The hosts stood tall, though, and edged their opponents to advance to the semifinals.

PAOK head coach, Ilias Papatheodorou, and AEK Athens center, Vince Hunter, were both ejected from the game.
