Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks lost to the New York Knicks

Luka Doncic made another strong performance (18 points, nine rebounds, six assists), but the Dallas Mavericks were defeated again (106-118).

Apart from the young Slovenian, Dennis Smith Jr. had a team-high 23 points for the Mavs, who lost for the seventh time in nine games (2-7).

For the winners, Allonzo Trier scored 19 of his game-high 23 points in the second half, as six more players scored in double figures for the Knicks.

The end of the first half saw the hosts be in front by just three (59-56). Yet, the visitors responded, outscored their opponents 33-18 in the third quarter to take a 12-point lead and never look back (77-89).

Dallas tried to come back, but they came up short and, consequently, they were defeated (106-118).

This was the third win in nine games for the New York Knicks (3-6).
