Mike James shocked Anadolu Efes

Mike James hit a big three-pointer, with one second to go, and Olimpia Milano survived Anadolu Efes at home (81-80).

The American guard had the chance to give his team the victory, as Vasilije Micic had missed both free throws, with 16.9 seconds remaining (78-80). And he did exactly that, as he buried the game-winning shot at the buzzer.

James led the winners in scoring, with 15 points, at 4/20 shooting. Vladimir Micov added 14 points and Arturas Gudaitis 13, along with 11 rebounds.

On the other hand, Adrien Moerman had a game-high 23 points for the losing squad, on 10/12 in two-pointers. Micic posted 15 and Tibor Pleiss 10 for the Turks.

The hosts took control of the game from the opening tip and were in front by 14 at the end of the third quarter (68-54).

Yet, the visitors came back and went on a 10-26 run to take a two-point lead (78-80). However, James shocked the Turks and hit the three-pointer to give his team the victory.

Olimpia Milano improved to 4-1 in the standings, whereas Anadolu Efes dropped to 3-2.
