ALBA Berlin ended Lokomotiv Kuban’s undefeated record

ALBA Berlin made a consistent performance on the road and handed Lokomotiv Kuban their first loss in the season (75-83).

Luke Sikma led the winners in scoring with 18 points, whereas Isaiah Whitehead and Dorell Wright had 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the losing squad. Moustapha Fall also contributed 14 points and six rebounds for the Russians.

ALBA Berlin took control of the game from the beginning (17-25) and played very well offensively to end the first half in front by 10 (39-49). Later, Lokomotiv tried to come back, but the Germans stood tall, were solid and claimed a crucial victory on the road.

Both teams now have identical records and are on top of the standings in Group B (4-1).

In the other matches, Monaco earned their first home win in the EuroCup, as they beat Andorra (81-73). Unics Kazan survived Fraport Skyliners at home (83-80), Tofas Bursa edged Cedevita (94-89) and Turk Telekom prevailed over Partizan (77-72).

In addition, Rytas Vilnius dominated Mornar Bar on the road (69-92), Arka Gdynia defeated Limoges at home (87-78) and Unicaja Malaga escaped from Italy with a big win over Turin (104-105).
