Daniel Theis suffered a right foot injury during the match between the Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons and will be sidelined indefinitely.
As the club announced, the German big man will remain out of action indefinitely, after sustaining a slight tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot.
The Celtics head coach Brad Stevens told the media that the injury does not require surgery. Theis played in five games for Boston this season, averaging six points and 3.4 rebounds.
