The Dallas Mavericks suffered their fourth defeat in six games (2-4), as they lost to the Utah Jazz at home (104-113).
Rudy Gobert made an impressive double-double for the winners (23 points, 16 rebounds), as Donovan Mitchell added 20 points.
Dennis Smith Jr. had a game-high 27 points for Dallas, with Wesley Matthews contributing 22. DeAndre Jordan came very close to the triple-double, with 12 points, 19 rebounds and nine assists.
For his part, Luka Doncic made another all-around performance, with 14 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Utah had a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter (19-26), but the Mavs cut the deficit to four at halftime (46-50). In the second half, things didn’t change much (77-82) and the visitors stood tall and won the game (104-113).
This was the fourth win in six games for Utah (4-2).
