FMP: Branko Cvetkovic comes back

ImageSmall forward Branko Cvetkovic returned to FMP on Monday, joining the club he played for between 2005 and 2007. Cvetkovic (200, 25) played for Panionios last season and averaged 12.1 points in his first Euroleague campaign.

He brings extensive experience in the Eurocup with him, having helped Akasvayu Girona reach the title game two seasons ago and helping FMP to the ULEB Cup semifinals in 2007.

Cvetkovic began his career with Spartak Subotica in his native Serbia and also played a season for KK Borac Cacak before joining FMP. He moved to Spain for one year with Girona before joining Panionios last year. Among Cvetkovic's career highlights include winning the Adriatic League with FMP in 2006 and taking the 2007 Serbian Cup. Cvetkovic has also been a member of the Serbian national team.

"I'm glad I came back to his club," Cvetkovic said. "It's like my second home. I am here to help the club win and to get back to my better form. I do not want to make excessive promises, because it takes time to get fit and raise the quality of your game."
