Unics Kazan announced that Kostas Kaimakoglou will remain with the team until the end of the 2018/19 season.

“We have a deal with Kostas. We have suffered a series of injuries with Melvin Ejim and Pierria Henry and we needed one more import player. That’s why we picked Kaimakoglou. He knows the plays, he was training with us during the pre-season and will not need any time to adapt,” said the club’s president, Evgeny Bogachev.

The Greek forward joined the Russians in 2012, when he decided to leave Panathinaikos.
