Unicaja Malaga will be without Alberto Diaz for up to eight weeks, after tearing his hamstring in last week’s EuroCup action.
Diaz suffered the hamstring tear during his side’s 96-85 win over Mornar Bar.
The 24-year-old Diaz is averaging 4 points and 2.7 assists per game in three EuroCup games this season, which is his fifth with his hometown club.
The 6’2″ point guard captured the 2017 EuroCup Finals MVP award, helping Unicaja to the title by downing Valencia.
Unicaja, though, haven’t stopped, as they beat Manresa in this weekend’s Liga Endesa action.
