Kelly Olynyk’s two-pointer with 0.2 seconds to go helped the Miami Heat escape from Washington with a big victory over the Wizards (112-113).
The hosts ended the first half in front by just one (59-58) and retained their lead until the end of the third quarter (89-85). With less than 10 seconds to go, John Wall missed the three-pointer and gave the Heat the opportunity to win the game (112-111).
Dwyane Wade missed the two-pointer, but Olynyk was there to grab the offensive rebound and beat the buzzer (112-113).
Josh Richardson had a game-high 28 points for Miami, with Rodney McGruder adding 20, on 7/12 shooting. On the other hand, John Wall posted a team-high 26 points, along with nine assists, and Bradley Beal scored 20 points for the Wizards.
