The Philadelphia 76ers’ point guard, Markelle Fultz, had his first 3-pointer in NBA. The 2017 No. 1 draft pick made his shot from beyond the arc during the 76ers and the Bulls game.

Speaking about his achievement, the 20-year-old player said, per ESPN: “I worked hard this summer. I shot 3s. I shot midrange. I worked on my game, so I was comfortable shooting it. I believed in it and I thought it was going in, which it did. So it felt good.

I’m never afraid. Tonight I didn’t make a lot of them, but I’m going to keep shooting. If I see an open shot, I’m going to go shoot it. That’s what I work for. Tonight it didn’t fall, but eventually it will. I am going to keep working.”

Overall, Markelle Fultz posted 12 points, on shooting 5-of-15 from the floor, including 1-of-3 from three. Last season Fultz struggled not only due to his poor shooting technique, but also the right shoulder injury.
