EuroLeague denied that Zalgiris Kaunas recorded Baskonia’s practice

Per EuroLeague sources, Zalgiris Kaunas had nothing to do with the recording of the practice of Baskonia.

The Basques’ head coach, Pedro Martinez, took to Twitter and accused the Lithuanians of recording his team’s practice on purpose.

The league, though, stated that the home squad (in this case Zalgiris) doesn’t operate the cameras or has any access to the footage.

EuroLeague’s explanation was as follows: “Unfortunately, due to a mistake and contrary to league policies, a reduced number of cameras were on and therefore footage was being recorded.

As soon as this was detected, footage was immediately erased. The issue is still being investigated but it is important to highlight that the local clubs, in this case, Zalgiris, neither do operate the cameras nor do get access to any footage these record.”
