Real Madrid dominated Darussafaka in the EuroLeague opener

Real Madrid played excellent offensively and triumphed over Darussafaka at home in the opening day of the EuroLeague (109-93).

The defending champions were unstoppable and scored 91 points (25, 28, 38) in the first three quarters. As a result, they crushed the 2018 EuroCup champions and claimed their first victory in the competition.

Six players scored in double figures for the “Whites”, with Anthony Randolph having 16 and Sergio Llull 13, along with eight assists.

On the other hand, Ray McCallum scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished six assists for the Turks, who played very badly defensively. Stanton Kidd and Zanis Peiners contributed 12 points apiece.

Anadolu Efes outscored Bayern Munich 14-28 in the third quarter and easily prevailed over the Germans on the road (71-90).

Bayern were in front by five in the second quarter (26-21), but the Turks hit consecutive three-pointers and never looked back (37-44, 51-72).

Five players scored in double figures for Anadolu Efes, with Brock Motum having 14 and Shane Larkin 13 and five assists.

On the other hand, Nihad Dedovic posted 17 points for the Germans, with Stefan Jovic adding 15 points and five assists.
