In an effort to reinforce the position left blank by Ricky Rubio, who is unlikely to continue with Joventut, it is reported by Spanish media that Kristaps Valters of Fuenlabrada has agreed terms with the Catalan club.
Valters still has one year left on his contract with Fuenlabrada, but has practically been on the market all summer so far. The 27-year old Latvian could also eventually play alongside Rubio in case the Spanish playmaker stays, as he is a scoring combo-guard.
