Partizan edged Zenit St Petersburg to claim their first victory

Partizan defeated Zenit St Petersburg at home (89-82) and earned their first victory in the new EuroCup season.

Six players scored in double figures for the Serbians, with Rade Zagorac having 16 points, five rebounds and six assists.

On the other hand, Jarrod Uthoff made a double-double for the Russians, with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Zenit played without Brandon Jennings, who missed the game, due to a hand injury.

The visitors were in front by seven at halftime (39-46), yet the hosts came back and outscored their opponents 50-36 in the second half to win the match.

ASVEL Villeurbanne easily beat Trento at home (75-61) and were victorious for the first time this season.

Charles Kahudi led the winners with 16 points and nine rebounds. Dustin Hogue had 16 points for the Italians, on 7/10 shooting.

Unicaja Malaga decimated Fraport Skyliners in their first EuroCup game at home (91-64).

The Spaniards were dominant from the opening tip and never looked back. Kyle Wiltjer scored 15 points for Malaga.

On the other hand, Brady Heslip had 20 points for the Germans, on 6/11 from beyond the arc.
