BASE Oostende announced the appointment of 48-year-old Slovenian coach Mehmet Becirovic. The new coach held a 3-hour conversation with the management of the club until a consensus was reached.
Father of Lottomatica's player Sani Becirovic, previously coached Azovmash Mariupol in Ukraine. Mehmet Becirovic also coached helios Domzale and Olimpija in Slovenia.
